Bytek is great. I recently purchased a 2019 Jetta Highline, there was no pressure, no taking advantage of me! The service has been super. I had to schedule work today and from parts to service, it has been a great experience. I never thought I could say that from a dealership before :)

I have sadly resorted to this to try to get my issue with this dealership resolved. They repaired my VW after an accident and this repair was rusting less than 3 years later..took the car in LAST fall and they told me it would be fixed by the spring..it's now over a year...keep getting the run around... these things take time they said (over a year!!!), file gone cold...will investigate, would never take my car to this bodyshop, they don't stand behind their work.

Posting for a friend that's not technically inclined. He submitted a rust claim in November 2017 and it was never submitted to VW by the body shop. They did a shuffle of employees in the body shop not long after and when my friend followed up in March; they said they had no such claim in their system and to come back. He did so and they submitted everything in early April. They said it usually only took 6-8 weeks at most to get a response from VW... Here we are in October and my friend is still waiting. We followed up with VW and they said its all on the shops since they are independently owned. Seems everyone he calls or talks at Bytek just points the finger to someone else. Countless times Body shop employees and managers said they would expedite the process and\or follow up but no follow ups were ever given. There is definitely a management problem there that is worse than previously thought but waiting 1 year for rust claims should never happen. If you are short staffed or had troublesome staff; fire the bad staff and replace them with better staff and hire additional staff to get things happening. We inquired with other VW Dealerships in Ottawa and they all confirmed this should not take a year. 3-4 months TOPS. Management needs to wake up and fix this large issue because I see from other posts here that similar issues happened to other customers.

I have been a customer of Bytek Volkswagen since 2012, when I bought a Jetta. Sales and service have always been excellent. Just this week, I purchased a 2014 Passat. I dealt with sales representative Alex Grigorescu. Alex was excellent. He was patient and forthright regarding questions I had about the vehicle. He explained the sales process very clearly and overall made the purchase process very simple. I have purchased many cars over the years and it is always a stressful process but Alex helped make the experience a positive one. Thank you Alex. I also want to thank Lesley, who has been with Bytek for many years. Again, Lesley helps make the process simple and pleasant. I appreciate that very much.
