Hi there,in the past I've bought a civic hash back then I bought a new 97 Odyssey and my last vehicle a new 04 Odyssey.My question is how come there's no recall for the transmission the overdrive has been acting up for the last 4 years . A rattle in front end , I change every part in the front end and finally we figured that the the noise stops when we down shift transmission in 3rd gear . I'm not the only one with this problem this should be a recall .I'm shopping around for a new vehicle and I'm not sure if it's going to be a HONDA . Yours truly DONNY !!! Maybe I should spread the word !!!!

Unfortunately your vehicle is outside of the warranty guidelines and we respect that you've had your vehicle to a repair facility of your choice, but unfortunately it doesn't look like we've had it in our shop to address the concerns that you mention. If at any point, you would like to schedule an appointment to have these concerns addressed, please feel free to contact our service department to schedule an appointment. We, as a dealership, don't have control over what is considered a recall or not - this is processed at the manufacturer level. All we can do is provide the information and diagnosis of your vehicle to Honda Canada. I hope you can understand our position on this matter, and as previously mentioned, if you'd like to bring your Odyssey to Moncton Honda to have these issues verified, we'd be more than to happy to check those for you, at your expense. However, should your concerns lead to a vehicle product update or recall action from Honda Canada, we would then reimburse you for your out of pocket expenses in this matter.
