I bought my Terrain in Parksville and found that even basic service took several hours and they didn't communicate what was going on. Also, their shuttle service would it drive me to work. The first time I brought my Terrain in to Laird-Wheaton, my concerns were addressed, the shuttle very timely and will go wherever they need to AND I finally feel like my car is well maintained. Special thanks to Morgan who has always been very helpful and accommodating.

Anything to make a sale....pretty pathetic service, crazy how they can stand there and look you in the face and deny shit that they most definitely agreed upon prior to signing on the dotted line.....wow, so frustrating that they can say anything they want and there's no accountability!!!

I recently brought my vehicle in for a salt & grime removal detailing (purchased off of Island Daily Deals). While it was in their possession, the hydraulic seat motor was broken. It was working before the detail and it was broken in pieces when I picked it up. The motor was hanging out from under the seat and we found a part from it wrapped up in a napkin in our center console. They are not only refusing to take any responsibility, they were quite rude about it and actually blamed ME. They also wanted me pay to have it repaired. And their excuse? They just don't think one of their employees would do something like this. So, BUYER BEWARE! If you bring your vehicle to Laird Wheaton GM in Nanaimo, be prepared leave with something broken that you will have to put up the cash to fix. LAIRD WHEATON GM, you should be ashamed of your sleazy customer service.

Maybe they moved the seat forward so they could vacuum under it? I don't know what could have happened to cause it, but what I do know is that it was working before I brought it there and it was broken after. I do not know how the broken part got wrapped in the subway napkin (not tissue), but we found it hiding in the console the next day. But wait, now you are saying that you you discovered the already damaged part while you were vacuuming it? Why didn't you mention this before? Listen, I am not the type of person who needs to complain about products and services to get free things, I have enough pride and make enough money so that I don't need to do that. If I had any inclination that I may have broken this I would have happily paid the price to get it fixed. But I honestly believe that it was damaged while in your care, it's just too bad that you are in such deep denial.
